As the holidays approach, I think back on all the things to be thankful for...
1st, my husband's sil is in remission for Hodgkin's. We continue to hope that the last treatment will be his cure. He is looking good and seems to have a pretty good attitude.
2nd, the school year is going well. The kids have settled in quite nicely. I hope they continue on the same way.
3rd, my husband and I have celebrated our 22nd wedding anniversary. We are very happy.
4th, my sister had to have neck surgery again and she came through the surgery well. Now I am hoping that it will be the last 1 that she has to have.
5th, my husband and I both still have our jobs when so many others do not. I am sad for those having to do with out and wish them all new hope and prospects.
Finally, there are a whole host of other things for me to be thankful for that would take me quite a while to list and will bore you all to death. Just remember, as you go through this holiday season, even if things haven't been the greatest, take the time to make a list of those things that you have to be thankful for.

What a great idea! There are so many things we all should be thankful for that get lost in the shuffle of a busy life! Thanks for bringing it home. :)
