Well, here I am, blogging. I am so irregular, I need to take a blog laxative. I swear!
Any way, the kids are back in school and we are off to a pretty good start. I sure hope it stays like this but, know that it probably will not. I get tired of the kids, the kids get tired of me. It is natural, there is nothing wrong with it.
We have our 1st 3 day weekend this weekend. I am glad. No real reason, just glad.
The 2nd week of school, I was out by the busses and as the last bus got ready to pull out, 1 of the kids stuck his head out the window and shouted, "YOU ROCK, MS. DEAN!". May not seem like a big deal to you all but, you have to understand, this boy is a 7th grader. Yep, that dreaded middle school age---tween---where all that hidden attitude pops out and drives parents totally, and I mean totally, crazy. I love them at this age. I find them to be the most interesting at this age than at any other age.
Why is it the kids act different for their teachers than their parents? I can't answer that but the stories I could tell you when we tell parents at conference how good their child is at school. Really, it is quite comical some times. LOL!
Well, it is good they are back, I needed a diversion from a 'short' summer of worrying about every body around me. It wore me out. I would much rather worry about the kids than grown-ups. No real reason why, just do.
Parents, enjoy the daily vacations, you deserve them.
