Summertime, summertime, summ, summ, summertime

Yes, it is finally here. That is right, summer vacation is here and the only thing I have to do is............eat, drink water, and go to the bathroom. However, that isn't all I will do :) . I have already given the master bath a major cleaning---thought I was building muscles while cleaning the shower with Magic Eraser, it didn't work so well.

My husband helped me get all my house plants back outside and he even did all the sweeping and organizing of the items that remained in the kitchen. Today, I am finishing up with that project, I am mopping and waxing the floor and will do some additional reorganizing. I have even thrown a way some things that haven't been used in over a year...I felt empowered :D .

The living room is next. I will be moving the furniture around, shredding junk mail, organizing magazine (thank goodness I have let my subscriptions run out, I haven't looked at all of them and I have a lot to look at), and give the carpet a good, good sweeping.

The best part is, I have some painting to do and I am glad to be back at it. I have enjoyed what I have produced. I have a been commissioned to paint over 20 8" pots for a wedding, I have a saw blade to paint, and I have a whine bottle to do. Should keep me busy most of the summer. I have finally accumulated all the sealers and varnishes I need as well as the paints. Now, to get the pots. I have never had this much trouble finding 8" pots AND, it is summer....

We have a nice long vacation planned and I can't wait to get started on that. Will post the details for that after we get back. :)
