The Thanksgiving Holiday has been very relaxing. I have been able to do some painting (a friend ordered some terra cotta pots with gingerbread designs) and I have been watching a lot of football.

School has been a little chaotic with kids hitting, pinching, and who knows what else but, we keep plugging right along.

I fell in the girls bathroom the first week of November after it was flooded by a boy who tampered with the toilet in the boys bathroom . Nothing was done to find out who did it. I was very lucky that I was not hurt very seriously. I think that is one reason why our principal didn't pursue it. Well, I am absolutely sure that is the reason because when he was asked by the superintendent if he was going to find out who did it he said "no, it isn't worth the hassle".

For the first time, I am seriously thinking about changing school districts. I drive 70 mile round trip every day to teach at that school. I feel like I do a very good job, I know I miss very few days every year, and I handle almost all of my own discipline and this is how the principal repaid me. I no longer feel any loyalty to the school as they have shown me how loyal they are to me.

The Sooners won the Big 12 Conference South division today(beat the crap out of the OSU Cryboys). Now, the Sooners will be playing for the conference championship this weekend. They will also be appearing in a BCS Bowl game but, we do not know what one---if they had won last week, it would have been the National Championship game.

Oh well---BOOMER! SOONER! Beat Missouri!
